Chris AldousHi, my names Chris, I have been working as a psychic medium since 2006 covering various venues in the Northwest. Nominated as one of the top 20 mediums in the north west area in 2010. Having worked within SNU church’s and psychic clubs, both of which have a very different in approach. I find my work with spirit to be highly enjoyable, otherwise I wouldn't do it. The evidence given still amazes me.
I am often asked how did you know you had the gift, my answer is simple, I've always known stuff, turned up at peoples houses when they were talking about me or phoned people just before they contacted me. The real realisation came when I was 19, that was when I realised not that I had the ability, more that other people didn't. That happened when I turned around to my mates at the time and told them all that on tuesday I was going to get asked out, but friday was going to suck as my grandad was going to die. I was working as a manager at a local deli at the time, and sure enough on the tuesday a rather good looking blonde from the bank opposite from the shop where I worked came in and asked me out on a date. Then friday came and my grandad died in my arms of a heart attack whilest my grandmother was ringing for an ambulance. It was a bit of a shock to the system at the time, from that point on, I set out to find answers. The whys and hows. Rather than clairvoyant or any of the other clair's. I personally prefer the word psychic. Believing that all spirit communication begins with attunement of the psyche.
The word 'Psychic' is derived from a Greek word meaning of the soul. Many misunderstand psychic's either thinking that it is either nonsense or Hoodoo. Both are incorrect. It is a natural aspect of life, which is commonly found in the animal kingdom. Many creatures from the animal kingdom use what we may term as a six sense to guide them through life. Following migration routes to sensing changes in the weather before they happen are just minor examples.
These aspects are also very much apart of human beings. The biggest issue is that many of us have lost our connection with nature. As a result our own natural sense have become dulled or we have become confused by it. Resulting in over complexed lives, mental illness's and in extreme cases paranormal activities. We all have natural abilities that are often untapped. Now the degree of ability varies from person to person. You could equate it to mathematical ability, every one has some. Some can add one and one to get two whilst others can do quantum physics. Similarly psychic abilities vary.
Not everyone is interested or even wants to develop. It is personal choice like everything else in life. Some speak of angels, others of god, the great spirit or even aliens. Perhaps all are true, perhaps not, it is ultimately your decision what to believe and what to dis regard. All that can be said in all honesty is that if there is a higher side, a side that is apart of life that is just beyond ourselves, a greater purpose, we would only understand it in relation to our own personal experience, as such it can and does differ from person to person.
This is merely a quick introduction and for those who are curious there are many gems of wisdom to be found. A warning though as there is just as many false truths to be found as well. As such the first point of call is to understand your own point of view and be able to speak it with out fear. Those with secrets should ask themselves why they have secrets and what is about there own lives they need to change to improve their own well being.
